More About Me!

My life and current goals/aspirations

queendom blank.bmp

I've been an amateur self-taught animator since about 2015, I learned everything I know about MMD (that's Miku Miku Dance) on YouTube and continue to post my own work there. I've started and stopped a multitude of animation as well as writing and drawing projects due to; having a day job, Pomeranian, Depression and Executive Dysfunction. I don't usually receive much support for the work I finish either, at least not historically as of yet.Trying to find my real motivations and passions again. Currently learning several languages as well (read the next section below the list for details!). I'm the kind of creator that likes to hang out with their audience so I stream video games on the weekends sometimes as well. I'm pretty busy!

In 2022 I currently hope to:

  1. Finish at least two writing projects (one just seems too low but I'd be happy with that!)

  2. Finish a "Tribute" for at least one special person. (Aiming for two on that as well)

  3. Improve my Japanese and Korean more substantially and purchase a physical Japanese keyboard (AND ACTUALLY USE IT!)

  4. Begin learning basic Python (Like I told myself almost two years ago lol)

Tell me more about those languages!

**Disclaimer: I'm not fluent in any of these nor do I claim to be! Please don't listen to those who claim otherwise!!**

I'm mostly self-taught with grammar books and Duolingo but here you are: (These are roughly in order of spoken proficiency but please keep in mind that languages can have multiple areas of required skill.)

  1. Japanese (Intermediate, using Duo and a grammar book. Cannot read most Kanji but can read both Hiragana and Katakana. Speaking is reasonable. Been exposed since a very young age due to anime.)

  2. French (Beginner. Took a class for two months in school and currently using Duolingo to not forget what I know.)

  3. German (Similar story to French, my pronunciation needs help though.)

  4. Italian (Beginner. Took it up for fun on Duolingo when lockdown started. I say Buongiorno and Arrivederci to my Italian friends bc they're just lovely words and easy for other people to remember/realize in context. my pronunciation is pretty good but my grammar and vocabulary need a LOT of help. This is mostly a language I use to flex lol.)

  5. Korean (BEGINNER AF. The hardest language for me to start for whatever reason. I forget respectives because I know that I only know the Japanese ones by heart and embarrass myself by sounding like what must be an actual filthy casual who wanted to learn bc of Squid Game. Trust me, I've been trying for a while but I actually have a headache sometimes T-T I really want to improve this a lot!!!)

  6. Russian (SOOOOO BEGINNER. BORDERLINE HONORABLE MENTION! Picked it up bc my coworker taught me "Privjet" and I think I only know maybe 5 words. Mentioning bc people are usually impressed ik any at all.)

(Actual) Honorable mentions:

  1. Spanish. (For some reason I just say the words well.)

  2. Swedish (Look I was a Pewdiepie kid so I only know the naughty words but I say them pretty good?)

  3. Portuguese (My mom learned some for work once so I know how to say "Where are you?" "Donde est a?" I think they also use Gato for cat. That's it though.)
